Starting as a freelancer is difficult and exciting. All you need to do is used your researched skills and to be patient so that you can find the job you've been dreaming of. Right now, I am learning the Virtual Assistant, Social Manager & Marketing and Simple Web Design skills. This blog is for the people who would like to begin their journey as a freelancer or work from home. So here is my simple guide to a beginner freelancer like me.

1. Resume/CV and Application letter

These two is very important for your freelancing journey. They are the one who knocks to the employers' door for you. So you should have an attractive CV and Application letter. You can use a Canva for you to have perfect and beautiful designs.

2. Register in different platforms

You will need to register on different platforms so that there are more hiring jobs you can apply, the more registered platforms the more chances of winning. There are a lot of legit platforms like:

• Upwork

• Online Jobs

• Outsourcely

• Fiverr

• Freelancer

• Remote Staff

• iFreelance

• Toptal

3. Optimized Skills

To be the best freelancer, one skill is not enough. There are a lot of ways to improve your skills. The big help for me as a new freelancer is to be enrolled in Filipino Virtual Assistance (FVA), I took the freelancing course, it is an online course and you have to learn it on your own pace and have proper time management.

So don't be scared to explore in freelancing world. There a lot of things you can do, just believe in yourself and focus. We may not be as great as the experienced freelancer, but we can work it out, little by little.
